Help nowUpper Hand Organization is a nonprofit supporting the needy, educating students, and bringing relief to disaster-affected communities across Chitral and beyond.
The Upper Hand Organization began with one person and a simple conviction. In 2016, Muhammad Fazal Wadood started helping families in Chitral on his own — arranging treatment for the sick, delivering rations, and supporting students who could not pay their fees.
As the need grew, so did the circle of people who wanted to help. What began as personal giving became an organization, so that every contribution could be organized, tracked and multiplied.
Today Upper Hand works across two dimensions: immediate assistance in emergencies, and long-term projects — water systems, homes, mosques and madrasas, and the Rozgar Scheme — that let whole communities stand on their own feet.
To help the helpless, serve humanity and rebuild lives through sincere action — so every contribution becomes tangible, lasting change for the most vulnerable communities.
A compassionate, self-sufficient and equitable society where chronic poverty is eradicated and every person has clean water, medical care, education and safe shelter — a life of dignity, not dependency.
“The upper hand is better than the lower hand.”
